Last weekend at Palm Key was fantastic!! The machines were furnished by Prodigy Quilting from Rock Hill, S.C. and they were flawless. Sherry really worked very hard to get the machines to Palm Key, set them up, educate us as to how to use them, pack them up, and take them back to Rock Hill. She did a great job and the effort was appreciated by all of us.
This next picture is of the set up of the room that we were using. The giant windows provided so much light during the day and the little lights that you see suspended from the ceiling provided more light than you would believe.
This photo shows only 1/4 of the space we had for our use. These are the two machines that Charlie let us use, aren't they great!!! Many "love" quilts were finished over the weekend, as well as some personal quilts. We may have some longarm converts. If nothing else, everyone who attended realizes the journey that their quilt takes when it is sent to the 'longarmer' and what is required of the 'longarmer' to do that wonderful quilting. This is the "Car Pool Crew". You would not believe the amount of 'stuff' they crammed into the trunk of this car. The picture doesn't do it justice. The long black roll in the picture is actually batting that they carried in the back seat for the trip. Just goes to show that quilters are amazing packers of trunks!!!!

I'll post more over the next few weeks, so check back now and then.
